The Occupy Movement is an Alisnkyesque community organization event of anti-Semites, racists, anarchists, Democrats and labor unions, openly supported by millionaire and billionaire Democrats such as Barack Obama, Dennis Kucinich and Nancy Pelosi. Not coincidental is the timing of the protests, at the beginning of the Presidential campaign season.
The anti-capitalist campaign is funded by capitalist ventures such as the Tides Foundation, whose founder Drummond Pike advised in a 2010 release, “Tides may be progressive, but we are enthusiastically American. Were it not for the capitalist system, not a dollar would flow through Tides.”
The Tides Foundation funds Adbusters, an anti-capitalist Canadian organization which claims the Occupy protests as one of it’s campaigns.
Adbusters and Days of Rage are credited for the campaign, modeled after the “Arab Spring” wherein the governments of several Middle Eastern countries were toppled.
Other radical and activist left wing organizations involved in this campaign are Code Pink, American Nazi Party, Communist Party USA, National Lawyers Guild, the AFL-CIO, and on and on.
“The most important thing we can do right now is those of us in leadership letting people know that we understand their struggles and we are on their side…” Obama stated in an interview with ABC’s Nightline when asked about the protesters.
He continued, “…and that we want to set up a system in which hard work, responsibility, doing what you’re supposed to do, is rewarded. And that people who are irresponsible, who are reckless, who don’t feel a sense of obligation to their communities and their companies and their workers that those folks aren’t rewarded,” which is where his statement strays from the views of the occupy campaigners who are demanding free college , free medical treatment and total debt forgiveness.
The group also demands more unions for all workers. Not all workers want to be repressed by Big Union.
Pelosi stated in an ABC interview, “I support the message to the establishment, whether it’s Wall Street or the political establishment and the rest…”
What Pelosi fails to recognize is that she is the establishment, be it political or corporate. Pelosi owns a multimillion dollar non-union wine vineyard.
Pelosi and the Democrats took over the government in January 2007, due to great disapproval of the establishment Republicans. Within a year under Democrat rule, the country spiraled into the depths of the “Great Recession.” Obama and the Democrats’ (with help from establishment Republicans [RINO’s]) Keynesian spending policies likely have prolonged this recession, as FDR prolonged the Great Depression using the same means .
“Studying the experience of countries that have experienced great depressions during the twentieth century teaches us that massive public interventions in the economy to maintain employment and investment during a financial crisis can, if they distort incentives enough, lead to a great depression.”, according to a report by Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba (Universidad de Salamanca) and Timothy J. Kehoe (University of Minnesota, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and National Bureau of Economic Research.)
The protesters are foolishly aligning themselves with the Democrats and vice versa, while at the same time protesting the policies and actions of the Democrats.
But then, they are also protesting corporations while using corporate made cell phones and computers, wearing Nike shoes, etc.
They have also protested outside of the homes of Rupert Murdoch and David Koch, whose political leanings are to the right, while ignoring the left wing millionaires and billionaires who make up 17 of the 20 richest people in America.
This campaign is merely a distraction that will ultimately be used by the Obama Presidential campaign as “proof” of the need for his second stimulus spending bill, blocked by Senate Republicans with the help of Harry Reid.
In the words of Nancy Pelosi, “This initiative is funded by the high end. We call it AstroTurf. It’s not really a grass roots movement.”
