When you enter Anthony’s Key Resort, everything changes as though you are in an instant paradise. It is paradise on the tropical island of Roatan, in Honduras! There is an adventurous mood, a carefree feeling of “joie de vivre”.
Anthony’s lets you experience nature to the fullest. You are immersed in this natural wonderland to seek your enjoyment in so many ways.
Known as a dive resort, Anthony’s offers an exciting extensive program of DIVE, DIVE, DIVE and MORE DIVING! Their clear turquoise waters beckon snorkelers to the coral reefs. Of course there are also Kayaks for the guests use.
The entire resort is designed to blend in with nature, not to disturb the beauty of its surroundings. Perched on top of a mountain, you can just barely see part of their restaurant and lobby partially hidden by tall palm trees. The dock is the activity point where boats are ready to take you on underwater adventures.
Even their accommodations were different! We did not just stay in a hotel room, but in a Caribbean/ Tahitian-style wooden bungalow over the water. Each of the bungalows sat on their own private pier reaching into the lagoon. They also have bungalows with private porches and others tucked into the mountain in the main island.
What more could you want? This beautiful 50 acre resort is divided into a waterfront area along Roatan’s tropical coast and 3 islands- Anthony’s Key, Bailey’s Key, and just one half hour by boat, the Fins and Flippers Island. Their activities are centered around 50 acres of wilderness along with the pleasures of scuba diving and snorkeling. Follow their calendar of activities or “do your own thing”, it is your choice!
Rarely can you find a resort that offers so many chances to interact with
Dolphins. Their Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences RIMS schedules Dolphin Discovery programs- The Dolphin Beach Encounter, open water Dolphin Dive, snorkeling with Dolphins, Become a Dolphin Trainer for a Day, Dolphin Specialty Course, a daily Dolphin show, and Dolphin Summer Kid’s Snorkeling Camp.
With all of this at your fingertips, their all inclusive price gives the full range of activities, 3 single tank boat scuba dives or 2 snorkeling boat trips each day, entertainment, and three all- you- can- eat delicious daily meals. Prices range from Single: $1,335-$1,875, Double: $1,160- $1,699 for 7 nights.

Where is Roatan? Roatan is a Caribbean island about 35 to 40 miles off the north coast of Honduras in Central America. Domestic air service from the Honduran mainland to Roatan is provided by Islena Airlines, associated with TACA Airlines. With three inter-island airlines, we found this the best. One of the three Islas de Bahía (Bay Islands), thirty miles from the Honduras coast, Roatan forms part the Bay Islands of Honduras, an archipelago of three large islands, three small islands, and over 60 cays, which are located a mere 30 miles from the mainland. It is the largest island at about 30 miles long and from one to three miles wide. A small mountain ridge runs along the spine of the island offering expansive ocean vistas.
