Butler’s Orchard is a family owned farm of 300 acres that grows more than 25 kinds of fruits, vegetables and flowers. They also carry a variety of other types of canned jellies, apple butter, fresh produce and they have a bakery in their Farm Market, etc., be sure and take a look at these delicious goodies too. The current price of apples is $1.59 pound – over 20 pounds $1.29.
They not only have pick your own apples but they also have strawberries, blueberries, tart cherries, thorn-less blackberries, red raspberries, pumpkins, peas and Christmas trees, all of course, in their own picking seasons.
Varieties of apples are: Jonathan, Red Delicious, and Stayman
They’re geared for young children and have a fun way to celebrate the season for them.

The 13th Annual Apple Festival is October 21, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and 22 October 2011 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Guess what’s so great – there’ll be bluegrass music from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., hayrides, petting zoo, crafts and from noon to 6 p.m. children games and pony rides will be available for the children.
Varieties of Apples: Now through Mid October there’ll be Golden and Red Delicious, Ida Red, York and Fijis will be available about 1 October 2011.
