I was never one to use St. Ives products after my bad experience with the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, but now I like to use the St. Ives Intensive Healing Advance Body Moisturizer. This St. Ives product has got me tempted to try the other body moisturizers in their collection, but first I figured I would share some of the reason I actually like using this product.
What Is the St. Ives Intensive Healing Advance Body Moisturizer?
The Intensive Healing Advance Body Moisturizer is different from a body lotion because it is without fragrance and it is hypoallergenic. The lotion is thicker and heavier than a typical body lotion too. The moisturizer is whitish in color and instantly smoothes the skin out as soon as it is applied.
Ingredients in Moisturizer
Olive oil leaf
Cranberry seed oil
Mango seed butter
Cocoa seed butter
Sunflower seed oil
Applying the Moisturizer
Applying the moisturizer is best after a shower or bath by pumping the moisturizer directly into the hands and massaging it into the skin. The moisturizer is non-greasy and absorbs into the skin rapidly leaving it feeling hydrated and silky soft. Applying the moisturizer before bedtime is beneficial I find too because my entire body is so soft in the morning. I also like that I am able to use this moisturizer on my face as well to help hydrate it and smooth out lines and wrinkles without waking up with a pimple on my face in the morning.
Results from Using the Moisturizer
After using the moisturizer for about a week I noticed my skin had improved in texture and appearance. My skin was smoothed out, firmer and felt soft for once in my life. The appearance of my skin was bright with an even complexion. With constant use of the body lotion twice daily my skin maintained moisture and kept soft for up to twenty four hours.
Where to Get St. Ives Intensive Healing Body Moisturizer
The St. Ives Intensive Healing Body Moisturizer I got came from my Rite Aid Pharmaceutical Store. Other stores that carry this moisturizer as well is Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, Hannafords, Shaws, K-Mart and online at Drugstore.com. The moisturizer contains about eighteen ounce of moisturizer per bottle. This amount last about one month for me so I feel it is worth buying and using.
