Recently in Detroit, Jimmy Hoffa Jr was calling for union members to show solidarity in kicking the butts of Tea Partiers, another sign of union leadership gone wrong. They are not out to protect union jobs from scabs, they are asking members to go after fellow citizens for their political views. Jimmy Hoffa continued with calling for war saying, “If they want a war, we will give them a war!”, ABC News. The problem is nobody has called for a war except for the union leadership, had anyone else called for a war, the networks would have been airing it non-stop.
These top union leaders are nothing less than self serving politicians themselves, interested in their own greed and flexing their clout. They call the Tea Party violent, yet the Tea Party has held only peaceful rallies and consist of American citizens and voters who are fed up with the Washington-as-usual politics.
The one thing they are relying on is for the union members to be mindless robots that will attack based on the command of their leadership. However, from being a Teamster for many years and knowing many union members, I know that not all union members are mindless soldiers in a “Army for the President”. They do think for themselves and don’t believe in attacking innocent fellow Americans for the leaderships political gain. They also realize that the Supreme Court Ruled in Washington DC vs Heller (2008) that Americans have the Right to Bear Arms to protect themselves against a “Politicized Standing Army” which is exactly what Mr. Hoffa is attempting to create. Mr. Hoffa Jr. is trying to create civil unrest here in America, should he not be prosecuted for such activities.
Many are even considering joining the Tea Party, not because they agree with them, but simply to send a message to their leadership that they have crossed a fine line. They need to return to their intended goal of representing the union members and fore-go their political ambitions. Sure, these guys can easily get a certain element of supporters to appear at a rally to meet the president and be on TV. But they might want to research their true memberships’ core beliefs and values, something that they might have lost along the way to becoming a self serving politician.
Union members and American citizens alike, must now ask themselves, where is the Justice Department on this? Union leaders calling for members to attack, intimidate, or suppress innocent citizens for their political views is a hate crime. Why are they not being investigated and prosecuted, are they now above the law?
What is the true agenda behind these union politicians? They stand with a president who calls for the American workers wages to be inline with that of the immigrant worker, should these union leaders not be challenging the President and demanding that immigrant workers wages be brought up to the same as American workers. They join him in Detroit and use the blame game to point the finger in the other direction, and in the same breath say they stand with the American worker.
Now they are trying to use union members as their own private army to go out and suppress those who stand for freedom, liberty, and the American way of life and against Washington-as-usual. Much the way Mubarak in Egypt or Gaddafi in Libya did to try and suppress those who rose up against them in opposition. These leaders and their cabinet members referred to the opposition as the “enemy” and “terrorist”, much like what is happening here today in America, with citizens that have a different political view.
Union leaders like Richard Trumka and Jimmy Hoffa Jr need to be very careful as they have decided to cross a very fine line. If they do not step back and take a closer look at the path they are going down, they might find themselves in a position where they are simply put – 2 politicians facing a strong force of union members requesting their resignation. This would reflect very poorly on the President of the United States as well, since he has clearly chosen sides without leaving any room for political maneuvering. It has become increasingly clear that they intend to use this private army to strike fear and intimidation into any American citizen with a different political view.
It is time to vote out the president, all 535 members of congress, and the union leaders, and get America and the unions back on track. Show no mercy, replace them all, and continue replacing them until those running for office realize they work for the people or their union members and not for their own self serving interest.
We need to suppress the rhetoric and mudslinging pouring from the mouths of self serving politicians until they speak only about issues concerning America and it’s citizens best interest.
